Privacy Policy

MountainSeed Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to us. We understand and recognize your privacy concerns, so read below for more information on how we intend to use the information we collect.

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which MountainSeed collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the website (“Site”).

Personally identifiable information

Personally identifiable information (“PII”) is information that uniquely identifies a User as an individual, or that we can use to contact a User, online or offline. PII would include, for example, a User’s first and last name, a mailing address, an e-mail address, or a telephone number. In some sections of the Site, Users can voluntarily provide PII. For example, Users may register for the updates, respond to a survey, or make an inquiry regarding services or potential employment. Or, for example, the career portion of the Site allows for uploading of a CV.

Users should not provide highly sensitive personal information via the Site. Highly sensitive personal information would include any government-issued identification number (such as SSN or driver’s license number), any financial account information, and any sensitive health information.

Non-personally identifiable information

In addition to PII, MountainSeed may collect information that does not uniquely identify an individual user, and does not allow MountainSeed to contact a User, online or offline. This is non-personally identifiable information (“NPPI”). NPPI may include, for example, information about what browser type a User uses to browse the Site, or the type of computer used and/or means of connection to the Site.

Web browser cookies

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identifying number. When a User visits the Site, we and/or our advertising partners may send cookies to that User’s web browser. The User’s web browser then sends the cookies to the User’s hard drive, unless the User selected web browsing options that reject cookies.

These cookies allow us and/or our advertising partners to track User activity on the Site and even across other websites. We and/or our advertising partners use this information for analysis, to improve the Site and our services, and to advertise to Users online (on this and other Sites) and offline. A User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies or to alert that User when cookies are being sent. A User may delete cookies previously set. Because there is no established standard for what constitutes a “Do Not Track” signal, the Site does not honor any such signal.

Ads appearing on our Site may be delivered to Users by advertising partners, who may set cookies consistent with the description above. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize a User’s computer each time they send an online advertisement. In the course of providing these services, the advertising partners compile NPPI in connection with usage of a User’s device. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to Users. This privacy policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. You may learn more about opting out of major ad networks at

MountainSeed adopts measures designed to protect against loss, theft, or unauthorized use of PII.
