Protecting your privacy is important to us. We understand and recognize your privacy concerns, so read below for more information on how we intend to use the information we collect.
Personally identifiable information
Personally identifiable information (“PII”) is information that uniquely identifies a User as an individual, or that we can use to contact a User, online or offline. PII would include, for example, a User’s first and last name, a mailing address, an e-mail address, or a telephone number. In some sections of the Site, Users can voluntarily provide PII. For example, Users may register for the updates, respond to a survey, or make an inquiry regarding services or potential employment. Or, for example, the career portion of the Site allows for uploading of a CV.
Users should not provide highly sensitive personal information via the Site. Highly sensitive personal information would include any government-issued identification number (such as SSN or driver’s license number), any financial account information, and any sensitive health information.
Non-personally identifiable information
In addition to PII, MountainSeed may collect information that does not uniquely identify an individual user, and does not allow MountainSeed to contact a User, online or offline. This is non-personally identifiable information (“NPPI”). NPPI may include, for example, information about what browser type a User uses to browse the Site, or the type of computer used and/or means of connection to the Site.
Web browser cookies
Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identifying number. When a User visits the Site, we and/or our advertising partners may send cookies to that User’s web browser. The User’s web browser then sends the cookies to the User’s hard drive, unless the User selected web browsing options that reject cookies.

MountainSeed may use and disclose PII and NPII for any legitimate purpose. These purposes include:
- To provide the Site
- To provide information a User requests
- To keep in touch with a User via e-mail, direct mail, or other lawful means

MountainSeed may also use PII and NPII to create de-identified data sets. A de-identified data set is one which contains no PII and is not readily subject to re-identification of any PII. MountainSeed can use and disclose de-identified data sets for any lawful purpose with no further notice, in its sole discretion.
How we protect your information
MountainSeed adopts measures designed to protect against loss, theft, or unauthorized use of PII.
