Atlanta, GA and McLean, VA – December 8, 2025 – MountainSeed Real Estate Services, LLC (“MountainSeed”), a Georgia limited liability company, has successfully completed a large-scale sale‑leaseback transaction with Primis Bank, a Virginia state-chartered bank and wholly-owned subsidiary of Primis Financial Corp.
Effective December 5th, 2025, Primis sold 18 of its owned retail bank branch locations for a total purchase price of approximately $58 million, subject to customary closing adjustments. The properties are located across key Mid-Atlantic markets and represent core infrastructure for Primis’ retail banking operations.
As part of the transaction, Primis entered into a long-term lease agreement for all 18 branches, with an initial lease term of 20 years and an extension option. The agreement enables Primis to retain full operational control of each location, continue delivering exceptional service to customers, and remain deeply embedded in the communities it serves. The Bank will not close any branches or exit any markets as part of the sale-leaseback transaction.
